L To R:  Steve Searl 2nd, Joe Giammarino 1st, Dominic Borland 3rd, Dan Stebbins 4th.  9-Ball Bracket Board    Pool Players of The Brooke (PPB) want to thank our generous sponsors Expert Automotive & Smashburger .   On Saturday April 20, 2019 the PPB Billiards Club hosted the first 9-Ball Singles Tournament in HOA1’s newly opened, beautiful Catalina Recreation Center (CRC).   The format was double elimination, 2 out of 3 in the first round and single games the rest of the tournament. What a wonderful place we have to hold these events and it is going to get better with a 4 th just appropriated Connelly pool table!    Tournament Directors were Dominic Borland and Joe Giammarino.  Ron “Dblo7” Ridge was manning the tournament bracket again and did a fine job, thanks Ron.   The following field of 16 players gathered to play competitive 9-Ball.   Dan “Oh No!” Stebbins, Dominic “The Doctor” Borland, Jack Hepner, Bob “O” Ogle, Warren Hende

   The Pool Players of The Brooke (PPB) would like to thank Quail Creek Billiards Club, Dennis Desmond, President of the Quail Creek’s Billiards Club and their members for the friendly competition and camaraderie.   Another big THANK YOU goes out to Dominic Borland and Gary Barlow, Captains of the Pool Players of the Brooke Travel Team for organizing this event and making sure it was a success, and they did a great job.   On Saturday March 30, 2019 at 9:00 AM the PPB hosted the Quail Creek Billiards Club at the beautiful Catalina Recreation Center’s (CRC) Billiard Room for an 8-Ball Team Challenge.  We were competing on three 8 foot Connelly pool tables for temporary ownership of a Bronze Traveling Plaque.  The 3 PPB teams consisted of Tom “ Blind Squirrel” Barrett and Dominic “The Doctor” Borland, Gary “One Rail” Barlow and Steve Searl, Joe “Fast Eddie” Giammarino and Jim “Shooter” Fabio.   Our opponents from Quail Creek were Dennis Desmond and Dave Goble, John Andersen and Peter
